Using Video To Recruit New Employees
In today’s competitive jobs market it is important for your business to stand out from the rest. Video is an excellent way to share what your business offers to its employees. Whether it’s flexible work hours, good health benefits, or paid leadership training. All of these aspects are best represented by hearing directly from current employees.
Gordon Food Service had the clever idea to reach new hires. They included a QR code linked to a video on all business cards and printed promotional materials. This way someone could grab a card, scan the QR with their phone, and hear directly from GFS employees.
For this campaign we created deliverables to meet multiple formats; a long form video for more in depth computer based viewing, a short horizontal video to show on social media, and a short vertical video to play on a phone when the QR code gets scanned.
It’s important to reach your audience on all levels of engagement, and in this campaign me enabled GFS to achieve just that.
